Our very own small batch artisan gin. Dr Hardwicke’s was born out of a passion for the history of gin and the history of the local area. This gin was created by the Sadler family and staying true to their brewing roots, used English Golding Hops traditionally used to make ale in their recipe for this gin. 6 other botanicals that compliment the hops go into our gin to give it a lovely citrusy taste. So why is it called Dr Hardwicke’s? Dr Hardwicke was a local legend, going through the streets of Lye on his horse and trap helping the local poor and needy with his experimental medicines and apothecary. Today we are here in his place experimenting with different botanicals to create our own gin.
Dr Hardwicke’s is small batch and each bottle is labelled and numbered by hand, meaning you are getting a truly special, quality gin.
We recommend you enjoy Dr Hardwicke’s with a slice of pink grapefruit, a sprig of thyme and a premium tonic water of your choice.
